Soulland A/W 2009

23 year old wunderkind Silas Adler was born in Denmark, but has his roots both in here in Sweden & Tanzania. This young globetrotter spent his earliest childhood years in the rural surroundings of Jutland, then Gothenburg for a few years before moving to Copenhagen in his teens. This combination of a slow lifestyle on the countryside with a more fast paced urban life is what makes up the driving force in Silas's work as a designer & graphic artist. His idle skateboarding career was put to an end as he was seriously injured, so as an excuse to ditch school, he started his Soulland label in 2002.
From it's humble beginnings as a home-made tshirt print label it has grown into a full mens clothing line, & Silas has been awarded best upcoming designer by the danish fashion awards & Scandinavian talent of the year by the +46 awards.
