Rocky Mountain Featherbed First delivery

As we mentioned briefly last week we have recieved our first delivery of Rocky Mountain Featherbed jackets!
Rocky Mountain Featherbed was originally founded in the late 1960's in Jackson, Wyoming, where the brand became famous for inventing a cold weather down vest with leather yoke. The brand evolved quickly & by 1974 Rocky Mountian Featherbed had launched a jacket pioneering gore-tex technology that made the brand extremely popular with the outdoor sports community.

Unfortunately Rocky Mountain Featherbed disappeared by the mid 1980's & wouldn't resurface until a japanese vintage collector revived the brand 2005.
The Rocky Mountain Featherbed brand of today is all made in Japan & echoes the the brands original values, focussing on luxury materials & extremely high quality construction. In our minds these garments are just about as good as it gets!

Rimini X This Is Modern Disco

Tomorrow is turning out to be really big! As we told you earlier in the week we're doing our after work gig together with Nils from Levis Vintage Clothing and since the night is still young we continue to party @ Tranan Bar with Rimini and fabulous Gothenburg based dj Qlint!

It's the perfect way to start the weekend!

Once again it's time for our monthly after work party @ the lovely Pleasant Bar!


This time we're getting a little help from the guys @ Levis Vintage Clothing, which among other things mean that David is getting company in the booth from none other than the Swedish LVC representative Nils Schéle! Besides the fact that they're both serious denim fanatics, Nils & David share a common love for those hard-to-find disco & kraut 12" vinyls that every once in a while pop up on Ebay or Discogs. Expect an evening of some of the most sought after tunes, long haired boys, bourbon, boots & of course dirty, gritty old jeans!

Han Kjöbenhavn SS 2010

We're proud to announce that the HAN Kjöbenhavn spring/summer collection is arriving in store here @ C very very soon!

Danish brand HAN is mostly known for their nice eyewear collection but their excellent mens wear deserve just as much (if not more) attention. This collection, which is their second, takes inspiration from 1950's japanese workwear. It consist of classic pieces such as chinos, denim, polos & shirts.

Fashion Week Update!

As you may already know this week is Fashion Week here in Stockholm and for this occation we've given the shop a proper spring update with freshly delivered goods from most of our brands!

We've recieved a couple of very exciting deliveries from Medicom Toy including the 400% Alice in Wonderland Cheshire Cat, the Stpl collab & the 400%+100% pack celebrating Japanese jewellers Gigor's 10 year anniversary

We've also recieved a great delivery from Levis Vintage Clothing. This collection pays homage to the Ozark culture & is one of their strongest collections yet.

Another great new delivery is the Adidas Tokio Tech line. It consists of some of the most classic Adidas apparel & footwear updated with great functional materials in very fashion minded colorways. A very japanese look in other words.

Lastly we recieved a nice delivery of tees, shirts & scarfs from French street fashion brand Hixsept & our first batch of amazing footwear from New York brand Opening Ceremony!

As if all this wasn't reason enough to give us a visit we are expecting new deliveries from Norse Projects, Wood Wood, Vibskov & Final Home any day now!

Scratch all you plans for tonight cause it's once again time for Rimini & This is Modern Disco to host Tranan!


This time they've booked one of our absolute favourite Stockholm based dj's: Kool Dj Dust! Besides releasing a fantastic 12" on the exciting new etiquette FEED records last year, Dust is one of the inventors of the Skweee genre & the most ambitious crate-digger ever! His unbelievable dj-sets are legendary in Stockholm, expect to hear the most forgotten disco gems. Check out one of his mixes here!
