Levi's Made And Crafted F/W12 Exhibition

This thursday we're hosting an exhibition together with Levis XX showcasing the 2012 Fall/Winter collection from Levi's Made And Crafted. You will be able to view some of the most iconic pieces from the collection, enjoy hors d'oeuvres from our coveted neighbour restaurant Niklas and wash them down with Makers Mark drinks and beer from Brutal Brewery and best of all; you will get to mingle with the Levi's XX design director, mr Miles Johnson!

Miles Johnson began his career by studying fine art, specializing in printed textiles, at Bradford after which he began work for the costume house Angels & Bermans, where he gained a knowledge of and appreciation for vintage clothing. He subsequently went freelance and worked as a costume designer in the film industry
for four years working on both period and contemporary feature films, as well as advertising campaigns and music promotions. In 1997 he decided to return to college and completed an MA in menswear at St. Martins, where he was personally sponsored by the designer Paul Smith. While working on his degree Miles became increasingly obsessed with denim, which was the main ingredient of his final show. In 2000 he qualified and was snapped up by Levi Strauss Europe to work as a designer for Red Tab jeans. After a brief stint as a freelance denim and finish consultant he returned to Levi’s in 2003 and was appointed lead designer for Levi’s Vintage Clothing. He is currently Design Director of both Levi’s Vintage Clothing and Levi’s Made & Crafted.

The Fall/Winter 2012 Levi's Made And Crafted collection is entitled "Winter Beach" and is distinctly inspired by classic Levi's garments and mexican fabrics.

The exhibition/celebration party will be held at the C Store, Regeringsgatan 77, Stockholm on Thursday, November 15 between 18:00 and 21:00 CET. RSVP @ Facebook
