January has been hectic for us visiting the trade shows in Florence, Berlin and Paris, checking the upcoming trends in menswear for the fall/winter season of 2013. Here's our first recap from Florence and the 83'd edition of Pitti Uomo.
No different from previous seasons, this year Pitti Uomo was held at the huge Fortezza Da Basso, and this time the theme of the show was the versatile beauty of books and reading, giving Pitti 83 the name "Pitti Bookswear Mania".One of this seasons guest's of honor was French brand Maison Kitsuné, who also made their first appearance at the Futuro Maschile section. Kitsuné showed some understated and beautfiul designs created using fantastic fabrics and materials

Our Legacy has taken a very interesting new turn with their coming fall/winter collection.
Celebrating 30 years in the industry, Italian fashion conglomerate WP Lavori in Corso has put together a book showcasing their "Research in Style" as they so elegantly call it themselves. What better occassion to throw a release party for this book than at their Florence retail space during Pitti?
