Monitaly AW12 collection

As we showed you last week we have recieved the fantastic fall /winter 2012 collection from Hermosa Beach based brand Monitaly!

As always designer Yuki Matsuda has drawn inspiration from vintage Americana the great outdoors to create a beautiful line of heritage-traditional mens apparel, using only the finest materials and means.

Here's a look at some of the pieces that we carry from Monitaly this season:

First up is the amazing hunting inspired Quilt Jacket and Quilt Vest, created using superb quality nylon quilt and beautiful all over floral print lining. Designed with an array of fantastic details including sturdy leather reinforced Pull-The-Dot snap buttons, corduroy shoulder reinforcements, wool ribbings and a heavy duty two-way zippers with veg-tanned leather pullers

A classic American style Mountain Parka is something that every man should have in his wardrobe. It's just one of those pieces that never goes out of style and that, if it's a well made one, will last you throughout your lifetime. In our opinion Monitaly makes some of the very best options out there!
This season the Monitaly Mountain Parka is created using heavyweight cotton ripstop fabric for the outer, and a native-style geometric pattern wool lining. Notable features include the wool reinforced elbow patches, fine natural tanned leather details, super heavy two-way zipper, durable leather backed Pull-The-Dot® buttons, satin sleeve lining, wool ribbings and a zipped Napoleon pocket.

The Alpine Jacket is a great example of the thought, quirky detailing and perfect craftmanship that goes into every Monitaly piece. A beautiful unconstructed herringbone wool blazer with satin covered french tailored seams and satin lined sleeves, the Alpine Jacket also features geniune horn buttons and chambray lined cuffs for extra comfort.
